In a word, YES. Search Optimization can actually be the single best decision that you make for your company. However, success doesn’t usually happen overnight. SEO can be a medium- or even long-term investment – but when done properly by the right SEO expert or firm, it will serve you very well.

How long does it usually take to see the results of an SEO campaign?

The short answer is 4-6 months. However, results can show as early as the first month or as late as 9 to 18 months later. The real question is how competitive is your niche, do your competitors have an online presence, is your site a brand new site or has it been around?

How do I and my firm accurately measure the success of an SEO campaign?

You would think that the immediate answer is landing on the first page of Google or seeing the page rank go up! Unfortunately, this is not necessarily the case. The real answer should be seen in your ROI. Are you making more money? Because let’s face it, this is why you were seeking SEO Services in the first place.

Should you rely on SEO versus SEM?

The answer to this really depends on your approach. SEM places your content to the right and sometimes above the natural search results. It’s paid advertising. You pay when someone clicks on the ad you have made. Now, SEO is no cost for clicks, but it is more like an investment that you are building.

My approach is that, if you want to test out some keywords, you should first test them with SEM. SEM can put you in front, and if you get a ton of clicks (hopefully, within your budget) you know it’s a good keyword to drive revenue to your business. Alternatively, SEO is used for building your investment and your business over time – much like paying your mortgage down on your home.

How exactly does SEO work?

SEO is the art of naturally building a website so that it appears on the top of search results when customers type in certain keywords for your “products, blogs, content, and services”. The beginning of this process should always start with a review of your website and your goals for your site and target audience, as well as a budget that is comfortable for you.

There are 3 key steps to developing a successful SEO strategy. These include:

• Step 1: On-Site Optimization – The first step in the process is On-Site Optimization. Why? Because your website needs not only great content, but also excellent keywords, page titles, meta tags, SEO-friendly coding, and URLs.

• Step 2: Off-Site Optimization – Off-Site Optimization works by building links with Google-trusted websites, blogs, vlogs, etc. This can help with increasing your online presence.

• Step 3: Repeating Step 1 and Step 2 – The third step involves repeating the first two steps over and over again – every day – by blogging, vlogging, requesting links (the natural way), writing astounding content, and continuing on that path – even after you’ve hit the #1 spot.

How much should you expect to pay for SEO Services?

Much like anything else, you pay for what you get. If you want a burger from McDonald’s, then you pay for a cheap meal and get a cheap burger. If you want an absolutely mouth watering burger with prime-time meat, you visit a high-end restaurant. The SEO market varies quite a bit from prices of $300/month to upwards of $15,000/month. What you should pay for, though, is results. That’s what I offer you.
